Is it free to try?

Yes. Every account starts with 100 free credits — about three full scripts — and no credit card. Pick Lite ($10/mo) or Pro ($20/mo) only when PrepVid becomes part of your routine.

What is a credit?

Credits pay for AI actions. A full script is 30 credits, importing a video URL is 3, and a quick rewrite is 1. Pro refills 1,500 credits a month — roughly 50 full scripts.

Do I need to install anything?

No. PrepVid runs in your browser. Open the teleprompter there, then connect your phone as the camera when you are ready to record.

Do I need a separate camera app on my phone?

No. PrepVid gives you a secure phone link. Open it in your phone browser to see the script, frame yourself, and record while the computer keeps the session connected.

Will my scripts sound like AI?

Only if you want them to. PrepVid builds a voice card from your own videos and scripts, then writes and rewrites in that voice instead of a generic AI tone.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Switch between Lite and Pro, monthly and yearly, or cancel anytime from the billing portal. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

Who owns the scripts and recordings I make?

You do. Your scripts, voice cards, and recorded clips belong to you, and you can export your scripts to .docx at any time.

What browsers and devices does PrepVid support?

PrepVid runs in any modern desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox). The phone camera link works from your phone’s mobile browser, so no app install is required on either device.

Where are my recordings stored?

Clips recorded through the connected phone camera are sent directly to your session and saved with your project. They are not used to train models or shared with other users.

How is my data handled?
